Originally from South Africa, I moved to New Zealand at a young age. I grew up in Hawkes Bay and Wellington and moved to Auckland where I gained a Bachelor of Science and Postgraduate Diploma in Bioscience Enterprise at the University of Auckland.
After graduating from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, I moved back to Havelock North in 2019 for the opportunity to join The Dentists, the lifestyle Hawkes Bay has to offer and to be closer to my family.
I pride myself on being approachable, empathetic and I am committed to improving my patients dental experience. With a patient centred approach, I believe in giving my patients both the education they need to improve their own oral health as well as presenting all treatment options available for them to make an informed decision.
I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry with a strong focus on minimally invasive dentistry and the early detection of any potential problems. Outside of work I enjoy cooking, travelling, spending time with my family and friends and daily runs with my dog, Ruby.

I initially got into dentistry following my sister’s footsteps but really found passion in dentistry after seeing the positive changes I can make in people’s lives. This drives me to become a better dentist everyday and I spend a lot of my own time further educating myself.
